VoIP Service In UK Best Ever As Broadband Speeds Rise

Many UK residents of have subscribed to a VoIP service provider such as Vonage VoIP for personal calls are currently receiving the best possible service that has ever been achieved.

The service quality has improved as a direct consequence of faster broadband speeds in the country which according to the latest data released by regulator Ofcom suggests have gotten as much as 22 per cent faster.

In November last year, the average broadband speed was clocked at 7.6Mbps, compared to the 6.2 Mbps recorded during the same time frame in the previous year.
Ofcom attributed the rise to the fact that many consumers have changed their packages, opting for ones that offer higher speeds. Ofcom reckons that 58 per cent of consumers opted for a deal which offers broadband speeds exceeding 10 Mbps

Ofcom chief executive Ed Richards said: “It is encouraging that speeds are increasing and that consumers have a real choice of broadband service.”
